Hindi pa ako pwedeng Madame Auring

I tried reading cards for Mica today. I am so bad at it and will need practice. Jammi does it so well, can explain things much better. I made no sense earlier. I will need to take more time into learning my deck before I can properly read for people.

I got an interestingly good start to my day before heading off to work. I went to Bleecker Street Pizza to grab a slice since I haven't had lunch. A slice is $3 and I was given 2 for $1! Chea! Talaga nga naman. Exotic and beauty ko dito. Kung sa Pilipinas eh hindi ako pinapansin, mejo dito bumebenta and ngiti ko. Charing.

O sha, ako ay matutulog na. Pokpek, alas-3 nanaman at gising pa ako.

Pizza! Pizza!

Finally had EFNY Pizza again after a year and a half.

Currently at the Redwood City Library while Chris works at the bookstore for the next two hours. There's this weird lady who sat beside me earlier. At first I thought she just couldn't find an empty table so I didn't mind. but when I stood up to transfer to a nearby outlet since the Mac was lowbatt, she stood up and sat beside someone else. Creepy...

I didn't get to play GH this morning since I spent a good chunk of my time roaming around the house trying to find a spot with the best signal from the neighbor's wi-fi. After a couple of hours, I discovered I get the best reception standing infront of the refrigerator. I stacked a small stool on top of a small side table and placed the Mac there since lowering it would disconnect the network. Chriselle came home from work, saw me, and laughed her ass off. Hooray for weirdness!

I forgot how it's cold here in the morning

Man it's cold in the morning! And to think I'm not even SF! I bet it's worse out there! Yesterday, the second thing I did when I got here (the first thing was have blueberry pancakes :p) was PLAY GUITAR HERO!

Chriselle has GH 2 and 3 so we took turns playing. She had a late date the night before so I let her nap a bit while I read her copy of Calvin and Hobbes. Later in the afternoon we had homemade tacos for dinner then we went out for a walk around the neighborhood. Everything I need is walking distance from here so I should be fine. There's a Safeway, Barnes & Noble, Jamba Juice, the train and bus stations, and even their own branch of Escape from New York Pizza!!! I won't have to go out to the Haight to have one again! I'm so stoked! They don't have a mall nearby and they have but one clothes store and it just so happens to be OLD NAVY. We went into a video game store and Chriselle saw another GH Guitar for $40 so she bought it! We walked back home and played GH together. It was cool how we could play in different levels together (she, in hard, I was in easy). It also felt like we were alternately playing like in a real band which was awesome.

Chris and her dad are out to work so I have the apartment to myself. Will make myself something for brekkie in a bit then maybe play GH until I've mastered my hand-eye coordination.

Btw, they don't have w-fi here so I'm stealing from the neighbor again. They do have internet but I don't want to use their only ethernet cable since they use it too. I just have to angle the mac a certain way to get the best reception. If I'm on YM and I keep logging on and off or completely disappear, that's because I lost my signal. Chris is a volunteer for their local library and they have free wi-fi there so I'm going with her while she works and I can be properly online then.

Videos from this Week (Part 1)

I labeled it Part 1 because I will be here until Saturday and we still have lots to do until then. We're planning on going to the beach on Saturday before they take me back to Kate's. Right now, I had time to post everything since we're staying in as RJ plays with his new iMac, Paul plays GTA whilst Bea and I do laundry.

Las Vegas Day
They picked me up at 9am then took a drive to Vegas. We had a buffet dinner when we got there then went back to the house to chill before heading back out again. Paul and his parents took a nap on the carpet while us girls chitchatted till 9pm.

Las Vegas Night

Went to the Wynn where Bea, Leng and I played 1c slots, haha! Paul and his folks watched the US vs Spain B-ball game. We felt so under dressed (or overdressed might be a better term) since all the women were in skintight nothingness. On the way home, a guy in the elevator asked me if I wanted to kiss him...he was cute, but I wasn't stupid.

With the Santiagos Part 1

Gave George a bath since he stank from pooping in his carrier and throwing up on the way back from Vegas. The poor dog is not used to long road trips. Videoke at night, Costco lunch the next day, had amazing frozen yoghurt at Yoghurtland, vietnamese dinner then assembled RJ's new IKEA table and chair.

Another Piece of Heaven in BF

Upon Paul's recommendation, I had dinner at Chi's Brick Oven Kitchen last night with Jammi, Matthew, Niki and Pia. We had an awesome feast! The food was so good it annoyed me that I discovered it so late!

In the order you see them in the video below, this is what we had,

  1. Parmesan coated tortilla chips with cheese pimiento dip
  2. Potato Marbles (baby potatoes seasoned and baked with cheese with a side of sourcream and chives)
  3. Chicken Bacon Mushroom melt pizza
  4. Creamy Chicken Calzone (ham, bacon, roast chicken, egg, mushroom, cheeeeeese!)
  5. Spinach and artichoke pizza
  6. Blueberry cheesecake dessert pizza
  7. White chocolate Strawberry Madness dessert pizza (strawberry preserves topped w/ shaved white chocolate)
Everything was absolutely delicious that Pia and Jammi want to go back there tonight! I kind of want to too after seeing the video. If anyone is going to visit BF, then you have to try this place!!!
