I can't believe how absolutely bored I am. It was an incredibly busy day today but one that brought us loads of moolah. I'm about 15k shy of my sales target to qualify for my bonus incentives. I have two days to sell that much and I hope I make it. I really would like the money. I am in dire need of retail therapy.
Now that I've finished the His Dark Materials Trilogy and the last Harry Potpot book, I have nothing to keep me busy at night. I've been listening to The Deathly Hallows audiobook in the car as soon as I finished the book. It was just so good I wanted to have Jim Dale to read it to me one more time.
I need another book to read. JA, if you're reading this, please lend me Stardust na. Since may sakit ka at hindi tayo nakanood ng sine magkasama, I saw The Simpsons by my merry self last night after work. It was ok, I mean what did anyone really expect from the Simpsons movie anyway. It was hilarious just like the show has always been. I think Homer said it best in the beginning of the film (highlight only if you want to be spoiled) "I think everyone here (referring to people in the theatre) is a sucker for paying for something they can get on TV for free."
I just felt a little bad blowing off P160 on a Rockwell movie ticket. Anyway, beats going home early and staring into my macbook screen yet again.
Now to figure out what to do till I get sleepy....
It's almost 4am. I took a pill to help me sleep. I hope I sleep now. I have work tomorrow.
My thoughts exactly...
More scenes:
Bob's on the phone talking to his wife telling her about his day. She couldn't care less about what he's saying. Conversation ends with her hanging up the phone just as he says "I Love You." He hangs up the receiver muttering under his breath "Well, that was a bad idea," referring to making the phone call.
Charlotte is having an emotional moment and decides to call a friend or a relative in the US. She begins telling her about her trip to the temple and how it made her feel and drops hints about her feelings about her marriage. The person in the other end of the phone is obviously distracted by something else. Charlotte soon realizes she will not get the consoling she needed from the call and hurriedly ends the conversation.
Bob: It gets a whole lot more complicated when you have kids.
Charlotte: It's scary.
Bob: The most terrifying day of your life is the day the first one is born.
Charlotte: Nobody ever tells you that.
Bob: Your life, as you know it... is gone, never to return. But they learn how to walk, and they learn how to talk and you want to be with them. And they turn out to be the most delightful people you will ever meet in your life.
Charlotte: I'm stuck. Does it get easier?
Bob: No.....Yes, it gets easier.
Charlotte: Oh, yeah? Look at you.
Bob: Thanks. [Chuckles]
Bob: (continues)The more you know who you are, and what you want,
the less you let...things upset you.
I wish I knew what i wanted...
I can't believe it's over
Marla was right. I laughed, cried, was shocked, then laughed and cried some more. Well, I didn't really cry. I was trying to hold back tears for they would blur my vision and hinder me from reading on. I don't want to spoil it for anyone. That was one of, if not the, best book I have ever read. It couldn't have unfolded any better. P*t@ng!na ang galeng talaga. I was so sad to finish it. When I reached the final chapter, half of me wanted to go on and half wanted to stop. It was the same feeling I got when I saw Revenge of the Sith. Waaaaa! I can't believe it's over.
Well, it's not completely over since I have two more movies to look forward to. I hope whoever directs it, gives it justice.
Parang gusto kong basahin ulit...
Presenting...the "GIRLS" of Prod
Took photos of TPC's production team since today is Japz's last day before she starts training as a photographer for MOA. They all brought dresses (except si Brad, tela lang daw yan na he fashioned into a gown, ang backla talaga) and they summoned me to take photos.
I thank Annie Leibovitz for her great inspiration, she will always be my icon.
